It sounds like the ODOJ is running cover for NY Ron.

They're running cover for everyone. I'll have more on that next week.

The similarities between Sam Bankman-Fried and Thomas Matthew Crooks are startling to me. Both emotionally troubled young men being taken advantage of for personal gain of the political machine. Without citizen bulldogs like Mr. Eager, the truth would never see the light of day.

I wasn’t able to follow all the details, but I appreciate your persistent reporting. I am wondering if Wyden son who I believe is very involved in finance has a role in any of this

Sorry, there are a lot of moving pieces to this one, and it's been a while since I've reported on this stuff. I haven't seen any indication that Wyden's son is involved.

I remain mystified of how Ellen Rosenblum supposedly “disqualified herself” from the ODOJ investigation.

But then all news reports cited the lawyer who works two levels below Ellen in ODOJ (the head of her Criminal Justice Division) as the person who declined to prosecute.

In Oregon the AG is the only prosecutor with authority to file election law crimes. DAs lack the authority.

But in a REAL disqualification nobody in the AG’s office could handle the case, a special prosecutor would have to have been appointed.

I get it, although I don't think we've had any security issues for Roundup subscribers. Send me an email, Carol. I've worked around this with some other folks. jeff @ eagerlawpc . com

Yes, a lot of moving pieces and convoluted stories. My children and I also had a bad experience with one of Wyden's "operatives" Joel Shapiro, AAL who ran the Anit-child sex trafficking Forum we attended in 2015! So corrupt! He's an attorney and on staff with the National Crime Victims Law Insitute and does not report or protect victims and he blocked and ignored us after we turned to them at that forum!! They have no desire to stop all this child trafficking and now Southwest Key is being sued and we have reported many more slimy politicians in Southern Arizona! Unaccompanied child migrants sexually assaulted for years at their federally sponsored migrant shelters. DOJ is suing but they knew for years and did nothing! I federally sponsoring child sex trafficking~ Slimy Raul Grijalva and the Grijalva Cartel here in Southern Arizona have nearly destroyed southern Arizona

I wish you luck with the FEC. I’m afraid that at least for the next six months you can expect a Secret Service-like response. BTW, that picture of Sen Wyden looks like a mummification in process while breathing.

Heck, JR... he has looked that way for probably 30 years! The old wax figure just WON'T GO AWAY and sadly, the dumb Dems keep voting for him.

Think we will hear any update from any of Portland's local news sources?

Oregonian ran a story on the DOJ interview of Nishad Singh, in which he said he thought the fact that DPO misreported his contribution was "hilarious." Other than that, nada.
