It's good that there's a federal grand jury looking into the alleged Cazares-Mitchell influence operation on Oregon Democrats.
However, prosecutors should expand the scope of their investigation. Willamette Week reported on August 16, 2023, that "La Mota now has seven licensed cannabis locations in New Mexico," only two of which are operational. Didn't they hire Fagan to help expand their operation to other states? Wasn't New Mexico on the list?
How did the La Mota organization manage to obtain permission to operate in New Mexico given that their activities in Oregon generated outstanding federal and tax liens of between $7 million and $11 million? Of the most recent IRS lien for $4 million, some $1.2 million are for unpaid federal payroll taxes, a state of affairs that should be of special concern to New Mexico authorities if they they care anything about employees in their state.
Heck, Cazares and Mitchell raise so many red flags that federal authorities should be looking into the history of their activities in Florida, including their sources of credit and where their money came from and where it went.
The question about how La Mota et al. came up with the cash (literally) to contribute to all these campaigns, pay Fagan $10k per month, etc. in the midst of tax liens/lawsuits is, to me, among the most intriguing.
Her legislative aide was Jack Polales at the time we reported my ex husband a teacher to her. She was running for Legislative rep, Happy Valley and then Jack went on and became Gov Kate Brown's "Body Man?" Then it was one awful revelation after another!!
My children and I have been reporting these scumbags for 9 years, they also allow dangerous child predators unfettered access to our children Denny Doyle fmr Beaverton Oregon Mayor and Judge Mann Washington County Child P and many more they all run in the same circles! I pray there will be MANY more investigated esp those PERS retirees who burry reports of abuse!
There needs to be many investigations including into the DOJ/ Crime Victim's Compensation Unit, public schools with Title IX investigators! Children are not safe in our public schools and Fagan was notified about all this way back in 2015 knew we had immediate Danger Orders and had all our abuse reports! Oregon and it's politicians including AG Ellen Rosenblum do not protect victims!
Go after all those hooligans and bring back some accountability to Oregon politics, if that’s possible.
