I detect a faint whiff of euphoria here. my daughter was counting her chickens when a bobcat ate them all. if memory serves, didn't the last federal intrusion result in Ms. Kate Brown? still, it is with bated breath I await the next installment.

No euphoria, just noting that this is a major development that has been underreported in other Oregon media.

Behind the fuzzy "Portlandia" facade, Oregon is as corrupt as Louisiana, Chicago or Philadelphia were at different times in the past.

I have argued this with Jeff before Oregon is more corrupt than Louisiana. In Louisiana this kind of stuff is all behind closed doors; get caught and get indicted. Louisiana has actually sent several State politicians to prison for the stuff that is out in the open here.

I am holding my bias and breath in check regarding DOJ activities and the outcome of this investigation.

Good! She should be in jail for her criminal activity and betrayal of the Oregon citizens. Pushing recreational marijuana is NOT healthy for the future of children. How have we adults become so selfish that we don't care about what happens to children?

Willamette Week has really good coverage on their daily blast today so far the declared targets are Fagan and the two La Motta principles, Cazares and Mitchell, with subpoenas also going to the OLCC, Ethics commission, SOS office and Dept of Revenue and also contacting employees directly. I am hopeful that if Cazares and Mitchel get taken down they might provide information for consideration if there are any other folks involved in nefarious schemes. At least I hope this acts as a brush back for the loose ethics bunch in Salem. Great coverage Jeff
