Leann Johnson's Equity and Inclusion Division should have investigated harassment allegations against OHA vendor exclusively reported by Oregon Roundup two weeks ago
So was she fired for apparent malfeasance or failure to appropriately bury corruption by connected individuals successfully endangering, ala Fagan, blowing the biscuit wheels of the gravy train
Since this was all brought to light back in 2022 and it took this long to for someone to make a rational decision, would audits be a cost-effective way to better the State's response times to abusive agency behaviors? So many abuses and so little done.
I would like to focus on the bravery on Michael’s part. I know this has been an uphill battle and the amount of bs that I went through for talking people around me was nothing like what Michael went through. My passion for fighting injustice was cut short after I started mentioning it to coworkers. Heck, the entire board was included in the email chain! I wonder if that is why my (previous) supervisor started treating me horribly… all I know is that Michael deserved better from me and everyone else included in the chain of emails.
It’s disgusting that it’s taken this long and that Michael had to endure God-knows-what by people who didn’t believe him. When someone gets to the point that they’re crying out for help, it’s not a game and we need to do better. I would like to be a part of the change that needs to happen within our system, for Michael and anyone else that may have had to deal with abusive behaviors at the hands of someone with too much pull and not enough integrity. There’s so much negativity that comes from speaking out, we have to do better about believing victims.

Whatever it was, it must have been bad. I asked a source who’s close to OHA about it; the source said it was unusual that OHA fired anyone at all.
Great work, Jeff. Amazing web that makes one’s head swim. Do we need perpetual, trustworthy agency audits in every arena? Sure seems that way.
Yes, but I don’t think the trustworthy audits are realistic. Gotta crank up legislative oversight.

reminds me of and interesting novel: One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest - Ken Kesey, 1962.
the more things change...
Good work. When will OHA release the reason for firing? Is a public records request in order?
They might never release the reason. I’m trying to figure it out!
Keep digging! Thank you for your efforts!
She should be fired for not investigating the allegations, it shows a cover up and is a violation of Title 7 Civil Rights Act.
Thank you for that but if information 🙏✨

It’s a waterfall! The word on the street is of a class action against the state perhaps it’s the only way to make real change happen.
