The Portland City Council president shaming the 95-year-old woman who wrote in a handwritten, gentle, etiquette perspective from her age group and time would be considered a misuse of power balance by anyone with basic political training, and anyone without could see it as punching down. Sad day for Oregon- once again-
And the other peacocks are defending him calling it “body shaming.” They love weaponizing therapy speak. Like just say you screwed up dude. But the Peacocks aren’t exactly known for taking accountability or being mature, so an acknowledgment of poor behavior is highly unlikely.
Non typical “leadership”. Pandering to the only group that will or would vote for him. There shouldn’t be any questions why PDX and most of the rest of Oregon is in a death spiral. Remember all of this in November and every election thereafter.
You really knocked both of these pieces out of the park today, Jeff.
As far as “flightless birds,” some time ago I suggested that Oregon, having previously changed the state’s motto to “She flies with her own wings,” adopt the Dodo bird 🦤 as its mascot.
Thanks. I looked in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for a mental illness that characterizes the Democrat party. I didn’t know that the Democrat party is listed as a mental illness.
Yeah, the whole polygamy polyamory stuff is so bizarre, and obviously it goes against federal law which prohibits polygamy, and was written because the Mormons would not be allowed to enter the union with Utah, so they got rid of multiple spouses. Yet somehow the government of Oregon doesn’t know that federal law supersedes state law, kind of like sanctuary cities, which are totally illegal and go against federal immigration laws. It’s almost as if Oregon legislators live in their own universe.

Just look at the guy - he's a thug. He also handed any opponent ideal material for a killer campaign hit piece.

Good choice Flightless and extinct
All together, Oregon is one f----d up state.
Are we (Oregonians) living in a looney tunes alternative universe?
Yes, isn’t it fun?
Bravo for the "astute" Oregonian. It's getting scary out there. voices in the wilderness...
Just when you think it's safe to go outside......what a poop show.
Ya think Dunphy could run for They/Them Congeniality
I believe the term is “Mx.”
I stand corrected
I like the readers digest version, thanks!

It's called the Democratic Party, and I and many other centrist Dems would love to send the progressives on a one-way trip to Mars.
Dunphy is a putz…
