Blatant corruption; in public. Not only no consequences or approbation, but a nice fat public job with major public figure ( Cross between Pee Wee Herman and Mr Rodgers without their toxic masculinity) who equally fears absolutely no consequences from his voters. What a State.

Great work as always Jeff, I just wish more folks would take the time to read your work. The new savior of PDX is now exposed. Another fine example of payback for support, the laughable issue is the PDX mayor position has been reduced to a “figurehead” the real power holders have taken away most of the decision making capabilities of the mayor. So, this chief of staff is essentially an overpaid secretary to handle coffee service and when the next entertainment might be. It is truly hard to fathom how dense and uninformed the citizens of PDX really are, good luck cleaning up the mess!

This reminds me of the January 5, 2017, white house meeting with the president, the acting attorney general, the national security advisor, the head of the FBI, the head of the CIA, and the vice president, when they decided to go with the planted Clinton story as deceptive means to a desired outcome, only this time it is our corner of the pioneer-state world, with a senator and his chief of staff, the head of the democrat party of Oregon, and whomever else may have been involved in the coverup within Oregon’s state government. Now, with Coghlan becoming chief of staff to the new mayor of Portland, we Portlanders can see that we are in for more of what came before. We are doomed.

Thank you for not giving up on this story Jeff. Perhaps The Oregonian will pick up on it like they did to your last story regarding this issue. Keep up the great work shedding light on the corruption of this corrupt mono party.
