The biggest problem in Oregon is it lacks a private right of action under the state's false claims act. Potential whistleblowers at OHA or in these programs won't come forward because they have no legal recourse, and the AG doesn't investigate because Medicaid fraud really represents money flowing to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries that are highly politically connected.

Worse than that, not just nothing to see here, she doubles down on protecting ineligible, illegal immigrants. https://www.kptv.com/2026/04/09/oregon-governor-signs-immigrant-justice-package-portland-ceremony/

Thanks for your efforts to report this fraud Jeff. Your reporting is interesting from a State agency lack of enforcement and why nobody in Oregon has brought a lawsuit for Medicaid fraud yet? How have Federal authorities responded to your investigation.? I am looking to see if you have experienced what I found in my Oregon Lottery investigation of a legally impermeable State agency to any illegal activities they participated.

How can there not be Medicare fraud found when it is connected to the Oregon Health plan that offers coverage to all including those residing here illegally.
