Oregon makes Minnesota look like amateur hour. Kotek, Rayfield, Fahey, Wagner, are all scrambling to bury this. This state is the most corrupt in the country. Hope that contracts manager who had the temerity to raise questions is ok - my guess is he’s now in workplace hell. They won’t fire him but he’s isolated and hated and will be treated like garbage until he quits. The SEIU administrative state machine will not put up with questions. You can bet emails are deleted, paper shredded. Unless the feds come this will disappear.
They are part of it. If you notice they are so focused on their "white guilt" they hand out taxpayers money hand over fist to appease the BIPOC population. I would say the majority of the grants and money handed out go to (what they consider) underserved races.
In our progressive government’s fervor to help immigrants and DEI recipients, we ignore obvious scams coming our way. No vetting. Even more troublesome is the possibility that local politicians or government workers are receiving kickbacks from these shell companies. Follow the money.
Oregon should bring in an outside investigator who is well experienced in the uncovering of such fraud. Perhaps Tim Walz, once he has abruptly vacated his current office, will be available for consultation. He certainly knows these type operations in and out.
Hoping for Oregon voters to open their eyes to the system in place in their state is likely to be as successful as patiently observing the sky for the appearance of flying pigs. It could happen, but it would be a very long shot bet.

Don’t you feel a little bit better knowing that Multnomah county is so incompetent that they cannot even kickoff a fraud system to siphon the hundred of millions in preschool funds that have been accumulating? It was always sounded weird to me that the proponents were insisting on community childcare rather than transferring the money to PPS. I would not be surprised they were looking to other states and wanted to get into the grift but could not figure out how to do it on their own.
