I disagree. I think it’s a good poll or at least directionally correct. Gas tax politics are different than any other tax. Everyone knows what they pay for gas, and they notice the bump. It’s not a tax-the-rich thing. People, including a lot of people who don’t usually vote, get really mad about gas tax hikes.

And doesn't Oregon have a 2.8 Billion dollar rainy day fund she could've released in the meantime to fund infrastructure and ODOT>Thats what The Republicans proposed and she ignored them accoding to Minority leader Drazan.. But then this is nothing new for this corrupt governor. Take note voters. Theres a better option come 2026,thats Republican Christine Drazan who actually is from and grew up in rural Oregon, The last election she wouldve won by a majority if Betsy Johnson didnt get 4% of the votes. Johnson got a job, an official appointment, from Kotek after that.so much for IND...meh... Drazan had a 43% rate ,that 4% wouldve made her the Governor instead of Kotek. Lets make that happen next year and also vote out ALL Dem reps Drexler, Bynum,and Senators Merkley and Wyden and roll back sanctuary statehood and corrupted motor voter system that allowed non citizens to vote as DEMS because of DMV driver license registrations.. Time to clean up and Time for a refresh Oregon!!
